Donate to The Academy Trust
Your gift helps tAcT bring scientists, hands-on experiments, and real scientific conversation into schools, colleges, and communities across India, with particular attention to rural and under-resourced areas.
tAcT is a registered public charitable trust. Contributions are eligible for tax exemption under Sections 80G and 12A of the Income Tax Act, and the Trust's accounts are independently audited.
How to give
- Transfer your gift to the account shown here, or send a cheque or Demand Draft (see Other ways to give).
- Email the details listed under Receipt and tax documentation to trust@ias.ac.in so the office can match your donation.
- The office issues your receipt and 80G documentation once it has the transfer and your details.
Receipt and tax documentation
To issue your receipt and 80G certificate, the Trust office needs:
- Your name exactly as it should appear on the receipt.
- PAN, postal address, email, and phone number.
- Amount, transfer date, and transaction reference.
- A note on the intended programme or fellowship, if your gift is for a specific purpose.

Demonstrations and activity kits that teachers and students keep using long after an event ends.
The Corpus Fund
Gifts to the corpus are held for the long term so the Trust can sustain its programmes year after year.

Companies and institutions can write to the Trust office to discuss supporting a specific outreach programme, fellowship, or the corpus.
